Many of you saw the news of a 7.7 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Montego Bay, Jamaica at the end of January.  We praise God that all our friends, ministry partners, and students in our schools remained safe and unharmed during the earthquake!  Additionally, no buildings were majorly damaged.  Minor repairs will be necessary in some cases, but over all, there was minimal damage.  We thank God.

Some exciting updates have taken place in a few of our schools over the past month.  In Jamaica, at our Victory Christian Fellowship preschool (pictured above), Mission Discovery teams visited with the students, facilitated a Children’s Bible School program, and helped build numerous school desks and benches.  They were much needed!  At the Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf, their vocational training center received a roof on the second story; the building continues to progress.  Our Christian Alliance School in Limonade, Haiti recently received a very generous donation that will help provide regular meals for students when they come to school- what a blessing!

Thank you to each of you for all you give to make the ongoing ministry of HOLD the Children possible in three different countries and 12 different schools.  And thank you to all who have set up recurring transactions for your monthly donations, it is greatly appreciated.  God bless you!

With much gratitude,
