Happy New Year! Pictured above, residents in our HOLD Home Orphanage gathered for a special Christmas Celebration last month! Thanks to your generous donations, each school and our Orphanage was able to celebrate Christmas with a party.
In each of our HOLD schools throughout Haiti, Jamaica, and Guatemala, students have returned from their holiday breaks! Classrooms are filled and teachers are hard at work once again.
In Jamaica, our schools are looking forward to having Mission Discovery teams come and visit in the Spring! We already have several Spring mission trips taking place, and we look forward to visiting our HOLD schools in Jamaica and Guatemala.
In Guatemala, our Kairos Christian School is making great strides and hoping to acquire land to build a larger school this year! We pray God provides this for them, as it is a huge need at this time
In Haiti, things are relatively calm for the moment; we give God thanks for this. Schools have re-opened for the New Year. Our Onaville School continues meeting off-site but hopes to return to its regular building later this month.
Great things are happening at HOLD the Children. We are excited to announce we will be partnering with an incredible organization to improve our child sponsorship program! We will be able to offer a sponsor portal to view updated photos and information on your sponsor child. We may even be able to provide communication via letters between sponsors and children! This will take several months to implement, but we hope to have the new sponsor portal ready by the summer. Be on the lookout for more updates about this
