Here are some of the younger students in our Christian Alliance School in Cap Haitien, Haiti.  Schools remain pretty quiet at this time, since students still have a break until next month.  They will return in September and are excited to get back to school with their friends!  At our HOLD Home Orphanage in Port de Paix, construction continues to move forward on our transitional home.  Things are moving quickly now that the roof is underway.  Next steps will involve much of the plumbing and electrical wiring for the inside of the transitional home.  At our Onaville School in Port au Prince, Haiti, the school was able to purchase many more chairs for their classrooms!  Students will not have to cram onto small benches anymore, they will actually have their own chairs to sit in at the desks.

Many Mission Discovery summer mission trips have been underway since May; almost 20 trips have already taken place!  Thank you for your prayers during this busy time of year for myself and our Mission Discovery staff.  On a more personal note, my husband and I adopted a newborn baby boy in June!  Our son was born on June 18, 2022 weighing 9 pounds and was 22 inches long.  He is beautiful, perfect, and precious in every way, and we are thanking God for this miraculous gift!

HOLD the Children continues providing education to more than 2,500 students as well as a Home for the 45 residents in our orphanage.  Thank you for all you give!  Your donations and ongoing support make the ministry of HOLD, His Outreach for Learning and Development, possible.  Thank you!

Gratefully in His Hold,

Courtney Carrigan,
HOLD the Children Director
