With students out of school for a break, things have been quiet in our HOLD schools throughout Haiti, Jamaica, and Guatemala. Students will return for their new school year next month. Faculty and staff are preparing for their return and in some of our schools, work is being done on their buildings. We continue waiting to see if students in Jamaica and Guatemala will be permitted to return to school in person next month. In Haiti, in-person classes will continue with the start of the new school year.
We have had a full summer of Mission Discovery mission trips all throughout the U.S.! We led a total of 11 different mission trips, taking place in four states throughout the months of June and July. Nearly 400 participants served on these 11 trips and provided wheelchairs ramps, home repair, hurricane relief, Children’s Bible School, ministry support, and so much more, to communities in need across our country. It has been wonderful to have teams serve with us in a variety of ways this summer.
