This school teaches students from Pre-K through 9th grade, and many of them have attended this school since preschool. Near the capital of Port au Prince, Haiti our Onaville School has been able to re-enter their usual school building! They will continue meeting in Canaan through this month, and return to their usual building in November. In addition to this, we are thrilled that students in our Capva School have been able to return for the start of their 2023-24 school year!
In Port de Paix, on the northern coast of Haiti, all our schools are open with filled classrooms. Your continued giving allows us to provide education to children who need it most. While personalized updates on individual children are not possible, your giving continues to benefit your school as a whole, and provides opportunities for these children living in poverty.
Our Orphanage, also in Port de Paix, Haiti, is doing well with staff providing for the children living there. Monthly support of our Orphanage allows these children to have a home and a special family of their own.
In Jamaica and Guatemala, the new school year continues on in each of our HOLD Schools, and students are hard at work.
