Pictured here, students in our Port de Paix Schools in Haiti gather for a quick picture at their Christmas Celebration!  Each of our HOLD schools and orphanage enjoyed a special Christmas Celebration last month, thanks to your generous giving.  The children were happy to have a special Christmas party.

We are thrilled to report that all our schools in Haiti have re-opened!  After a break for the holidays, all students returned to school throughout Haiti.  This is exciting because our schools in the Port au Prince area had been sporadically closed throughout the Fall season.

At this time, we have students attending school in all 9 of our Haiti schools spread across the country, as well as in Jamaica and Guatemala.

In Jamaica, students are back at it at JCSD and VCF Preschool!  They are kicking off their second semester and doing so well being back in school as usual for this school year.

In Guatemala, students have returned for their new school year.  They had an extended break since it was their “summer vacation”.  Students are excited to be back at school and they are looking forward to Mission Discovery mission teams coming to visit them and serve throughout the Spring months.

At our HOLD Home Orphanage in Port de Paix, the residents had a special Christmas.  Numerous hygiene items and school supplies were sent from Pastor Exante’s congregation in Nassau, and a generous donation was made to provide new clothing for the residents as part of their Christmas gift.  We are so grateful for your generous support that continues to provide full-time care for the children in our Orphanage.

Thank you for all you give!  Your donations and ongoing support make the ministry of HOLD, His Outreach for Learning and Development, possible.  Thank you!

Gratefully in His Hold,

Courtney Carrigan
