Mission Discovery teams serving last week in Jamaica assisted in updating HOLD the children school rosters at Victory Christian Fellowship and at Jamaican Christian School for the Deaf. New photos and updated information were gathered for each child at the schools. The the 2011/2012 school year is off to a great start for both schools. There are seven new children among the 42 special needs children attending JCSD this school year. A large number of students at Victory Christian were graduated on the public school in 2011. There are 19 new students enrolled at VCF for the new school year.
A special thank you is extended to Pastor Leroy Blackwood and Ms Brown, principal, for their dedicated and selfless work with the children of Victory Christian Fellowship. Most of these preschool children would be left alone during the day while parents are at work.
Also, thanks to the dedicated women of Jamaican School for the Deaf for their sacrifial work with the special needs of the kids at JCSD. Sophia Reid, Mary Ricketts and Dian Thompson along with all the staff at JCSD are special people who’ve committed their lives to serving Jesus and the needy at JCSD.
Thank you to all who served the poor and needy at the School for the Deaf, at Victory or at Blossom Garden.
