During a visit to Cap Haitian this past summer, we were able to witness the roof being poured on the Christain Alliance School. Seventy Haitian men began at 5:00am mixing and bucketing 350 bags of cement to the second story roof of the HOLD the children sponsored schol in Limonade, Haiti. For over 12 hours, these men mixed and carried cement to the roof. A number of women came out to prepare food and drinks for the men as they worked. We give God thanks for these hard working men and we thank God for all who contibuted financially and prayerfully to make this roof a reality. We especially thank Pastor Bazile and Pastor Daniel Petit-Frere for their leadership in organizing the workers.
The result of this work will be 8 new classrooms for the children when school opens in October. HOLD the children is committed to helping alleviate poverty through the education of our children. There is much work remaining at the Christian Alliance School. If you want to be a part of the work, you can send contibutions to HOLD the children-CAS School.
