Our schools are planning their re-openings!\u00a0 Most schools in Haiti are looking to kick off their new school year in August.\u00a0 In Jamaica and Guatemala, September is the projected start date.\u00a0 We look forward to continued education as students and teachers alike have had an unexpected break for the last few months.\u00a0 Students, faculty, and staff remain at home for now, but they are anxiously awaiting the start of a new school year.\u00a0 Many of our staff have stayed busy with feeding programs, worksheet deliveries, construction and repair work at their school, and other tasks.<\/p>\n
With Mission Discovery\u2019s international mission trips at a halt for this summer, we are grateful to have had our first post-quarantine mission trip here in Nashville a few weeks ago.\u00a0 A small team from Virginia came to serve our city through wheelchair ramp construction, and they had an awesome week.\u00a0 We are grateful that God’s work continues all around us!<\/p>\n
