Many of you saw the news of a 7.7 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Montego Bay, Jamaica at the end of January.\u00a0 We praise God that all our friends, ministry partners, and students in our schools remained safe and unharmed during the earthquake!\u00a0 Additionally, no buildings were majorly damaged.\u00a0 Minor repairs will be necessary in some cases, but over all, there was minimal damage.\u00a0 We thank God.<\/p>\n
Some exciting updates have taken place in a few of our schools over the past month.\u00a0 In Jamaica, at our Victory Christian Fellowship preschool (pictured above), Mission Discovery teams visited with the students, facilitated a Children\u2019s Bible School program, and helped build numerous school desks and benches.\u00a0 They were much needed!\u00a0 At the Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf, their vocational training center received a roof on the second story; the building continues to progress.\u00a0 Our Christian Alliance School in Limonade, Haiti recently received a very generous donation that will help provide regular meals for students when they come to school- what a blessing!<\/p>\n
