{"id":1056,"date":"2019-09-04T14:19:38","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T19:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.holdthechildren.org\/news\/september-2019\/"},"modified":"2023-07-07T12:04:54","modified_gmt":"2023-07-07T18:04:54","slug":"september-2019","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.holdthechildren.org\/news\/september-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"SEPTEMBER 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Everyone is busy as students in our HOLD schools have returned!\u00a0 At the start of September, students and teachers returned for their new school year.\u00a0 Improvements were made over the summer involving desks, benches, chalkboards, and one school is working on a new playground!\u00a0 All our schools are hard at work as they make educating these children their top priority.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The past school year in Guatemala resulted in plans for an expansion\u2026Kairos Christian School will be adding a high school for their students! We are excited for all God continues to do through the ministry of the school there. \u00a0In Jamaica, students at JCSD reside on campus during the school year; they are excited to return to their school family.\u00a0 Please pray for continued progress and improvement in the school\u2019s water supply situation.\u00a0 As always, please keep our students and schools in your prayers!\u00a0 Pray for teachers to have a renewed excitement for the new school year.\u00a0 Pray for patience and continued belief in their students as they work very hard to educate them in extremely difficult circumstances.\u00a0 Please pray for school directors as their role can be quite difficult.\u00a0 Thank you for your prayers and support of HOLD the Children!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">***<strong>It\u2019s hard to believe, but December will be here before we know it!\u00a0 Please consider making a special donation to the Christmas Celebration at your child\u2019s school <a href=\"https:\/\/missiondiscovery.kindful.com\/?campaign=253341\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>***<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":2954,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.4 -
