I (Rich) recently visited the HOLD Orphanage in Haiti for some administrative updates and to inspect the progress on the HOLD Transitional Home.  Several of our residents were reunited with family.  This allowed new children to be accepted into the Orphanage.  We are now entrusted with forty-five children who have been rescued from the streets of Haiti and abusive circumstances.

The children always enjoy visitors, especially when they bring fun things to do.  They spent an afternoon coloring and just hanging out with us.

Renel Paul, our general contractor is making great progress on the Transitional Home.  We hope to complete phase one of its construction by the end of this year.  Approximately $4,000 is needed.  If you can help with this, please donate online here and be sure to select “HOLD-Haiti Orphanage-Property.”

It costs approximately five dollars per day to feed, clothe, provide medical care, and educate one child at the Home.  That is $1,825 per child for one year.  With 45 children in our care, we need approximately $82,000 to care for them next year.  Please consider a monthly sponsorship to help with this cost.  We appreciate your support of the HOLD Home in Haiti.  We cannot care for these children without your help.
