God continues to bless the children and the staff at the HOLD Home in Haiti. The new kitchen and storage building are completed. The staff is elated with the additional room and is especially happy about the gas stove that makes their job of cooking for the 43 children a little easier.
Three of our children have recently been reunited with family. While we are disappointed that they have left us, we are happy they are with family. Three new children will be arriving soon. Pray that they will adapt quickly to life at the Home with the other children.
We are excited about four of our kids going to high school this year. Our HOLD the Children Schools go through the 8th grade. So these children will need to go to the government school a few miles away from the Orphanage. Each child will need to pay tuition, purchase shoes and a uniform, books and school supplies, a daily lunch and transportation to school each day. It will cost each child $100 per month to attend high school. We are seeking sponsors that can contribute $100 each month to help these children continue their education. The cost to operate the Hold Home is approximately $4,000 per month. We rely entirely on the generosity of those who believe in how HOLD the Children is investing in the future of Haitian children.
