Our schools are planning their re-openings!  Most schools in Haiti are looking to kick off their new school year in August.  In Jamaica and Guatemala, September is the projected start date.  We look forward to continued education as students and teachers alike have had an unexpected break for the last few months.  Students, faculty, and staff remain at home for now, but they are anxiously awaiting the start of a new school year.  Many of our staff have stayed busy with feeding programs, worksheet deliveries, construction and repair work at their school, and other tasks.

With Mission Discovery’s international mission trips at a halt for this summer, we are grateful to have had our first post-quarantine mission trip here in Nashville a few weeks ago.  A small team from Virginia came to serve our city through wheelchair ramp construction, and they had an awesome week.  We are grateful that God’s work continues all around us!

Thank you for your support and giving during this time.  It is what allows the ministry of HOLD the Children to continue.  Please keep HOLD the Children, especially our schools and orphanage, in your prayers.  We ask for continued health among our students, staff, and HOLD Home residents.  Thank you for caring!
