Our HOLD schools in Haiti finished out their school year last month with excellent scores on end-of-year testing.  Pictured above, the soccer team at our Christian Alliance School in Cap Haitien, Haiti won the championship last month!  The community celebrated this victory and major accomplishment.

Last month, a second contingent of the Kenyan army arrived in Port au Prince, Haiti.  This is part of a UN-backed mission to bring peace back to the country, safety back to its streets, and control back to the government.  Continue praying for progress to be made as each day brings new challenges for our brothers and sisters there.

In Jamaica, severe weather threatened much of the island last month.  We are grateful our schools did not sustain damage and everyone remained safe during the storms.  At JCSD, a number of trees were uprooted, but none of them fell on buildings- praise God!  At Victory Christian Preschool in Montego Bay, recent repairs have been completed after termites caused damage to the school building and its desks.

In Guatemala, June was a busy month with several mission teams serving at the Kairos School.  July was much quieter as students wrapped up for their break between semesters, and several students successfully competed in a public speaking competition!  They did well and made their teachers proud.
