Spring is finally here!  And with it comes many mission trips.  I spent a week in Jamaica leading a team of volunteers at our Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf where students are thriving and several of them are preparing to graduate in June.  We have also had teams serving in Guatemala and spending time at Kairos School where students continue learning and exceling each step of the way.  In Haiti, protests continue on a smaller scale.  It is advised not to travel there at this time.  In order to maintain safety as our top priority, we recently made the difficult decision to cancel our summer mission trips to Haiti.  But schools remain open and students are learning every day.  Life has returned to its usual state for residents and businesses are open and running.

The annual citywide crusade takes place in Port de Paix, Haiti this month and our ministry partner, Pastor Cherelus Exante, will be preaching several nights.  Keep this event in your prayers as you are reminded.  It is a weeklong crusade where many come to the saving knowledge of Jesus for the first time.  Pray especially for the country and all our ministry partners, friends, and students there as this time continues to be one marked by much unrest.  Thank you for your support.  Because you give, more than 2,500 students throughout Haiti, Jamaica, and Guatemala are being educated!
