HOLD the Children began support of the Capva School in 2014 when the school moved to its new building. The school is located in the tent city of Cite Soleil, just outside of Port au Prince. Cite Soleil is one of the poorest areas in all of Port au Prince. The school shut down after the 2010 earthquake, but school Director Anacias Joseph took it upon himself to ensure the school was rebuilt and functioning at its best. He oversees nearly 300 students preschool through 6th grade and 16 faculty and staff.

HOLD the Children began support of the Onaville School in 2015. The school is located in Onaville, on the outskirts of Port au Prince. This community was created as a tent city after the 2010 earthquake. The community lacked infrastructure. Shortly after the earthquake, Mission Discovery teams began serving in this area, under the leadership of Pastor Noel Gespere. Pastor Noel started the Onaville School and is the director. The school has grown to nearly 250 students with a staff of 10.
