School: Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf
When he's not in school or playing with his friends, he is a great help around the grounds when the staff needs extra hands. Prior to beginning school at JCSD, Coran had not been in a formal education environment. He is a very playful and helpful child and gets along very well with the other students. Coran likes to play all sports, especially soccer, and he is very competitive. He always wants to win, no matter the sport or opposition. We are very happy that Coran is able to attend school. In the future, Coran hopes to manage a taxi service company.

Dana is one of the younger children in her class. She loves the color yellow. She is learning what it means to be a student. There are many children in her class. The teachers at her school work hard to teach each student, especially in these early stages as they begin to learn to read and write. Dana’s education is possible because HOLD the Children sponsors her school and helps it continue to run. Would you sponsor Dana so we may continue to support this school and provide for the needs there?

Daphne is a pretty little girl. She always has a smile on her face. She is in Kindergarten and really likes going to school. Darben’s sweet smile shows he’s not afraid of the camera. He enjoys having visitors, like the Mission Discovery teams, come to his school. His school only began in 2015, before that the children in the community were not in school at all. The Onaville community began its existence following the great earthquake of 2010. Families moved to this area “temporarily”, but over time, it has become permanent. HOLD the Children sponsorships help the Onaville School continue to operate. By sponsoring Darbens or one of his friends, you actually benefit the entire school. Please begin your month
