Armada Denavard joined us at the HOLD Home for the first time in 2015. She is a sweet girl with a lovely smile and she likes bright colors. She is rather shy and quiet and doesn't talk much unless she's with her closest friends. She is tall for her age and looks like she could be older than she actually is. Thankfully here at the HOLD Home she can live life as a child and enjoy learning in school. Here she is well cared for, provided with meals, and even has health care.

Dieumika Faugue was born in 2006 but just joined us in the HOLD Home in 2015. Although a newer addition, she fits in well with the rest of the children in the Home. Like many children in Haiti, Evens does not have an official birth certificate. This is the case for some of the other children in the HOLD Home as well. Frandjy Fenetus has one of the brightest smiles in all of Lavaud! He has always lived near the HOLD Home, but recently joined in as part of the family when his mother was no longer able to provide for him. Frandjy has cerebral palsy. Johnson Pierre is one of our newer additions at the HOLD Home. He joined us in the fall of 2015 and has managed to fit right in in his new home. Juliana is in High School! She came to us years ago from the nearby town of Basson Bleu. She is so tall and thin! She has really sprung up in the last couple of years. Some of our team recently brought white boards and helped teach the children English, and Juliana loved this! She also loved using the books we brought. In her free time, she likes to jump rope. She really likes sandals and shoes. Juliana would love to go to the US someday to study. She would like to become a doctor so she can help patients because she really likes helping people.

Naomie Agenord joined us at the HOLD Home in 2016 and is the youngest of the 3 Agenord sisters here with us. She came from the nearby town of Chan Sol which is a little further inland than Port de Paix. It is a small town, and as is the case with much of Haiti, families struggle to survive. Nesly started out as one of our younger boys in the HOLD Home. He is usually pretty quiet and observant when visitors are there. He likes to sit back and watch everything that is going on.
