Nerline was born in the nearby town of Basson Bleu. When she is not busy with school, she likes to play “lago” which is Hide and Seek. She likes to study French and hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. She would also like to travel. None of the children in the HOLD Home have ever been outside of Haiti. She told us that her dream is to be “somebody”. Of course we told her she is already somebody because the King of the universe made her and loves her!
Nerline is grateful to be living in the HOLD the Children Home and attending school there as well. In Haiti 1/3 of girls over the age of 6 never go to school. Nerline is receiving a good education at school as well as learning responsibilities as a resident of the orphanage. She works hard, but is still able to be a child. Unlike many children in Haiti, Nerline does not have to worry about where her next meal will come from or where she will go to sleep at night. She can rest peacefully with a strong roof over her head. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Americas, but Nerline has been rescued from the doom of life on the streets as an orphan. The HOLD the Children Home was built to rescue Nerline and others just like her. Your help and support of this ministry provides hope for children living in fear and loneliness on the streets of Haiti. There are four options of sponsorships to choose from. Will you join us in rescuing these precious children?
Full sponsorship for Nerline Blanc is $150 per month and provides for the cost of living in the HOLD Home orphanage.
