Louisina and her older sister Julienne were both born in the nearby town of Jean Rabel. Louisina really likes school. Writing is her favorite subject. She also loves to jump rope, and she is really good at it! Her sister, Julienne, is her best friend. She would like to visit the US and eventually become a doctor when she grows up.
Most of us don’t realize the difficult circumstances that many of these children have been through at this young age. Life in Haiti is hard, especially for children. Most Haitian children learn to provide for themselves at very young ages. It is not uncommon to see small children carrying 5 gallon buckets of water. When they come to the Home, we give them back their childhood. They are taught responsibility, but are also allowed to be children. Supporting Louisina provides resources to care for more of Haiti’s abandoned and abused children. Can you sponsor Louisina? There are four levels of support to choose from. Your help provides hope for children living in fear and loneliness on the streets of Haiti.
Full sponsorship for Louisina Pierre is $150 per month and provides for the cost of living in the HOLD Home orphanage.
