Julienne and her sister Louisiana arrived at the HOLD the Children Home in 2012, they are from Jean Rabel, Haiti.  Julienne is a great help around the Home and actually likes washing the dishes!  Lago – hide and seek – is her favorite game to play.  She loves school, especially math, writing, and studying her lessons.  She would like to be a nurse when she gets older.  She would also love to go some places she has never been, especially to visit family.

Most of us don’t realize the difficult circumstances that many of these children have been through at this young age.  Life in Haiti is hard, especially for children.  Most Haitian children learn to provide for themselves at very young ages.  It is not uncommon to see small children carrying 5 gallon buckets of water. When they come to the Home, we give them back their childhood.  They are taught responsibility, but are also allowed to be children.  Here Julienne is getting an education.   Can you sponsor Julienne?  There are four levels of support to choose from.  Your help provides hope for children living in fear and loneliness on the streets of Haiti.
