David is grateful to be able to attend school. Children in Haiti as young as David are often forced into servitude to help families survive. Restavecs, 'children sold as domestic house servants,' are common in Haiti. These children should be in school; instead they are working as slaves for the wealthy. This cycle of poverty continues because education is a secondary concern. The HOLD the Children sponsorship program and the Mission Discovery teams working with Pastor Noel are committed to getting children into school. Education is vitally important in breaking the bonds of poverty. We need your help. You can support the Onaville School and get more children into classes by sponsoring David. Your $30 per month goes a long way to get kids into school and then keep them there. Thank you.
