Michelson was trying to be shy, but it didn’t work very well! He’s a joyful young guy with a lot of personality. It is great that he is in school and able to be a child. Many young children in Haiti do not attend school because there isn’t one nearby or because they can’t afford a uniform and books. HOLD the Children supports the school in Onaville. By sponsoring a child, you help provide for the school as a whole so that it can continue operating. Your $30 a month helps to pay teachers, provide school supplies, and uniforms for the children. Can you help?

Migueline Plaizeme is one of our younger students here at the Onaville School. She is fortunate to be attending school. Many children in her community miss out on school because their parents have them working or begging to bring in some kind of money for the family. Pastor Noel Gespere oversees this school in the Onaville community. It has experienced much growth in recent years as more and more children start coming to get an education. We believe education is one of the biggest keys to breaking the cycle of poverty and we hope to bring hope to these children and their community in p

Naomie Agenord joined us at the HOLD Home in 2016 and is the youngest of the 3 Agenord sisters here with us. She came from the nearby town of Chan Sol which is a little further inland than Port de Paix. It is a small town, and as is the case with much of Haiti, families struggle to survive.
