Children

Lishawn lives near Barrett Hall in the community of Rose Hall and attends Victory Christian Fellowship School under the direction of Pastor Leroy Blackwood and his staff of teachers. Lishawn has adjusted very well to school life. He was not happy about school when he started attending Victory Christian Fellowship last year. He has become very comfortable and is learning a lot.  Each day the school is full of life and learning. Each child receives a school uniform, a lunch and a quality pre-school education.

Kettlove is in grade 2 at Christian Alliance Schol in Limonade, Haiti. She is a pretty girl who enjoys playing with dolls and with the other children. She is very appreciative of all the help from HOLD the children to help build her school. She looks forward to the Mission Discovery team coming to visit her at the school.

Shemonique lives in the small community of Barrett Hall, Jamaica. The families of this community are very poor. Without the Victory Christian Fellowship Pre-School, children like Shemonique would be left at home unsupervised during the day while parents are out looking for work. Shemonique enjoys school and likes to play with the other children. She is very thankful for all those who help support Victory Christian Fellowship.

Mitchroy is a new student at Victory Christian Fellowship. Mitchroy likes playing football, that's soccor for Americans, with his friends. He dreams of being a professional player when he grows up. In school, mitchroy enjoys coloring and writing. He lives with his mother and three siblings in the small community of Barrett Hall, Jamaica.

Omar lives with his mother and 4 siblings in the small village of Barrett Hall, He attends Victory Christian Fellowship Preschool. Omar is a very smart child whi enjoys spelling and math classes at school best. He especially likes to play footbal with the other children at school. Some day he hopes that he can play professional football.

Dewayne is new this year at Victory Christian Fellowship Preschool. He Lives in Barrett Hall with hs mother and 4 siblings. His favorite classes in school are writing and math. Dewayne is very thankful that he is able to attend school at VCF. He likes to learn new things especially about Jesus and his love for him. Dewayne dreams of being a soldier when he grows up.

Camaro is four years old and lives in Lilliput, a few miles from Victory Christian School. She lives with her mother and two siblings. She misses school frequently because she lives so far from school. Camaro enjoys coloring and writing in school. She also likes to play baseball with the boys in school. When she grows up, Camaro wants to be a nurse so that she can help those who are sick.

Romeo has Downs Syndrome. He is a special child at Victory Christian Fellowship. Pastor Leroy and the staff are happy to help care for hime during the school day. Unlike in the US there are no agencies in Jamaica that help care for or provide for special needs children. Romeo lives in Barrett Town with his mother and father and sisters. He is a very happy child is likes coloring at VCF.

Letroy lives in Barrett Town with both of his parents and a sister. Letroy is very happy to be able to go to school at Victory Christian Fellowship. He knows that it is only because of HOLD the children supporters that he is able to go to school. Letroy enjoys coloring and writing in school and he likes playing football with the other kids in school. Letroy dreams of being a soldier when he grows up.
