We are currently gathering more information about Oudiana who attends The Christian Alliance School in Limonade near Cap Haitian. Cap Haitian is Haiti's second largest city and is located on the northern coast of this country where the daily income of a worker is $1. Education is so important and will allow Oudiana a better future in a difficult land. The Christian Alliance School is located in the small town of Limonade, about 6 miles southeast of Cap Haitian, Haiti’s 2nd largest city.

Darline attends the Christian Alliance School in Limonade near Cap Haitian. Venante is in the fourth grade. Like most fourth grade girls she likes school, playing with her friends and with her dolls. She helps around the house and attends The Christian Alliance School in Limonade near Cap Haitian. Kettlove is in grade 2 at Christian Alliance Schol in Limonade, Haiti. She is a pretty girl who enjoys playing with dolls and with the other children. She is very appreciative of all the help from HOLD the children to help build her school. She looks forward to the Mission Discovery team coming to visit her at the school.

Nicoya is an excellent and hardworking student. She has a problem with her eyes and recently had to get a pair of glasses. In June 2009, Nicoya won a national spelling bee in Montego Bay

Monique’s father passed away in 2010. Monique is diabetic but for now has it controled with insulin shots. Her mother tries her best to care for Monique and her siblings. She is a very pleasant girl at school. She processes things a little slower than some of the other children, but she tries very hard to keep up.

Nickay is growing into a fine young lady. She wants to be a teacher when she finishes school. She works hard at school and her attendance is very good. Nickay likes to help with the younger children at school. She is committed to doing her best at JCSD.

Robertha lives at JCSD. Her mother is unable to care for her so during school breaks she stays with a staff member. Robertha does not worry about her disability. She will try to do everything. Even though she cannot write as well as well as other students, she does her best. She is not afraid of challenges. Robertha does not allow her disability to deter her from trying new things.

Shawna-Kay lives with her grandmother, who is not well physically. Shawna-Kay does not process things quickly causing her to block things out for a few minutes, and then she can return to the situation. She will have a CT scan to see if there are any neurological problems. Rather than go home, Shawna-Kay often stays with a staff members on week-ends.

Amanda is the oldest of three children in her family. She and her brothers are well cared for by her parents. Amanda first came to JCSD in September 2010. There has been significant improvement in her work since she arrived. She is a self starter.

Kyan is doing well in school, but has the potential to do even better. She has trouble paying attention in class which keeps her behind other students. She likes to read. She is a very loving girl. She lives with both of her parents.

Navalee does much better orally than when required to put her thoughts and answers on paper. She is intent on learning regardless of her disability. Navalee always has a smile on her face. She is a very pleasant girl.

Suzie was graduated from primary school by St Christopher School for the Deaf. She came to JCSD in September 2010 and has been doing great in school. She lives with a foster family. She is eager to learn and excited about being at JCSD.

Sasha-Gaye came to JCSD in September 2010. Sasha has hearing and speech problems and some other physical handicap with her feet and arms. She works very hard to do her school work. Sasha-Gaye lives with help grandmother.

Trishana is a 2010 graduate from St Christopher School for the Deaf. She was not able to start at JCSD September because of illness. She lives with her mother and grandmother. SHe has two sisters.

Shemonique lives in the small community of Barrett Hall, Jamaica. The families of this community are very poor. Without the Victory Christian Fellowship Pre-School, children like Shemonique would be left at home unsupervised during the day while parents are out looking for work. Shemonique enjoys school and likes to play with the other children. She is very thankful for all those who help support Victory Christian Fellowship.

Camaro is four years old and lives in Lilliput, a few miles from Victory Christian School. She lives with her mother and two siblings. She misses school frequently because she lives so far from school. Camaro enjoys coloring and writing in school. She also likes to play baseball with the boys in school. When she grows up, Camaro wants to be a nurse so that she can help those who are sick.
