Ivenet Charles came to the HOLD Home in the Fall of 2017.  He has adjusted well to living life here with many other children.  When he first saw visitors coming, he didn’t quite know what to think!  Ivenet is quiet around visitors, but chatty amongst his friends.

Ivenet is privileged to be a young boy living in Haiti getting an education.  Many boys his age are no longer in school, but are out working and trying to feed themselves.  Some his age have even been sold to wealthy families as servants.  Here at the HOLD Home Ivenet is learning responsibilities and also continuing his education where he learns reading, writing, and many other subjects.  Here he is in a safe place where he can play and have the freedom to be a kid, as opposed to worrying about where his next meal will come from.   $5 a day provides food, clothing, shelter, education, and even healthcare to a child living in the HOLD Home.  Will you help?
